Bickerton Island Outback Store Upgrade

PROJECT SCOPE

  • Refurbishment of existing store, including new joinery, hot food display, floor vinyl, new front entry/exit doors and painting internally and externally
  • New electrical services including board replacement and back up generator with auto change over switch
  • Relocation of existing insulated & refrigerated shipping container cold room
  • Construct and integrate new Chiller/Freezer
  • Construct new Warehouse extension including kitchen, amenities, and equipment
  • Construct new hardstand and erect new fencing and gates
  • Reconfiguration of existing mechanical services
  • Remediation works to existing damaged roof and fascia’s
  • Main sewer diversion around newly constructed concrete hard stand

PROJECT SUCCESS

The project was completed to a high standard as per schedule and no extensions were required. There were no variations to the project. There were no onsite incidents nor non-conformances issued.

Rising Sun Build displayed an outstanding commitment to community involvement on this project including liaising with community members to put local workers through machinery tickets, assisting in animal welfare by sponsoring dog food supplies to school principal for collaboration with children in daily feeds for dogs.
