Established in 2016 and rebranded in 2025, Rising Sun Building & Construction has grown from a small team into a trusted construction provider throughout the Northern Territory. Our Director, Reece Houston, brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry

We are proud to be CAL-accredited with a project capacity up to $4 million. From our head office in Darwin, we serve urban, rural, and remote communities, offering solutions tailored to local needs.

Reece has over 20 years’ experience in the Construction Industry and is a dynamic manager having supervised teams of employees and subcontractors across multiple Construction projects to the highest of quality standards. With a Diploma of Building and Construction as well as a registered Residential and Commercial Building Practitioner.

Reece is a team player, has a technical mindset, is solutions focused and strives well under pressure leading his team to successful completion of construction projects throughout the Territory.

Glen has 6+ years’ experience in sales, estimating, and project management, including large-scale projects and government tenders across construction, refrigeration, and fabrication. He brings hands-on skills, leadership, and delivers projects on time and within budget. Strengths include budgeting, planning, and project software proficiency.

Sharon is a highly experienced and qualified administration assistant with a
